• RGB stands for "Red Green Blue" and is the color model that makes up the colors you see on your screen.
  
• The RGB color model (or gamut) is also referred to as an "Additive Color" color model.
  
• This color model is used in computer monitors, television sets, and theater. If you put your eye up against your television screen you might something like the illustration below.
